When I'm dating I weed out smokers, dopers, heavy drinkers and, of course, liberals. Not only do I want someone with similar values, but I also want to be able to engage in intelligent conversation.

Back during the first Gulf War, I was already coming over to dark side since I supported the war and was pro life. My dear husband would pick me up for lunch, we would get fast food and sit in the car listening to Rush. It was a way to get news about the war other than the lamestream media cra* so I "tolerated" it. I then got hooked. I now surf in about twice a week when I'm driving around and also listen to Hannity and Snow but it is definitely the case that Rush helped me define my conservative principles. And, of course, strengthened my marriage.
