Keep me posted.
We are Michigan homeschoolers and I have a 15 year old daughter who is preparing for driver's ed this summer.

I just spoke with my Senator's office. They are working with the policy committee to draft the legislation and have also spoken with the Secretary of State. Their intention is to present the bill this spring.
I gotta say, It's kind of cool to be responsible for generating a new law. I already told them that we will bring the power of Michigan homeschoolers to bear to lobby this when it's introduced.
As with everything, this will be a tremendous learning opportunity for the kids as we plan to be in Lansing for floor debate etc.

I'm glad the teacher is in stable condition, but I gotta tell you, I would have loved to have run over my high school driver's ed teacher. I almost did run over a sergeant with an earth mover when I was in the army. He never let me get on one again.

when a story is not excerpted -- such as the one from AP.org -- FReepers need not click-through to the source to read the story. Thus, no hit and no funding for the source. The AP gets no revenue from the traffic counts on its website?

The AP gets no revenue from the traffic counts on its website?Again, the difference is EXCERPTED (you send everyone to the site to get the whole story) vs. NOT excerpted (no click-through to AP necessary).
I sure hope that's clear enough now.

(Just my opinion, of course. Your mileage may vary.)
