This is probably the first time I agree with the normally FASCIST Henry Waxman.

More censorship from reps giving power to the jackbooted unelected FCC.

As far as I'm concerned, indecency legislation is indecent, especially when it gives more power to a bunch of power hungry bureaucrats.

We have a remote. We have a plug. We even have a V-chip. What's next - THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE?

Or will guns be considered 'indecent'. Don't laugh - AOL does that already.

I'll patrol my TV. I'm not weak minded enough to have government be the patrol police.

Hey, I don't give a whit about personal freedom. As long as that damned Stern guy can't talk to strippers on his radio show, I'm all for it!

The rules are so... "I'll know it when I see it" that they bring out the libertarian in me. If they were more specific I would be happier. When the FCC treats the rules like a "living and breathing" document, obscenity easily becomes the hate-crime du jour. Can the internet be far behind? Who would watch the MSM then? Dan Rather?

We have one major political party (Republicans) hijacked by religious fanatics who want to impose their "morals" on the rest of the nation,

Uh, I don't think so....

How about decent morals to keep your vocabulary clean and you clothes on in public? Nothing religious about it.

BTW Hedonism is a religion

Wardrobe malfunction? I call it "Wardrobe gift". I was watching it with my 3 year old son and when the top came off I said "Thank you God" and my son put his hand to the screen and said "wawa milk pweeeze".

B&B were just stupid funny, southpark got down right raunchy and blasphemous. Couldn't handle that.

Instead of Bible Thumpers, I prefer the term "Big government Statists".

I know a lot of "Bible Thumpers" who are for limited government - they don't trust government controlling their Bible.
