I just saw "Ray" this weekend. Ray got the same honor with Georgia - you wonder if someone in MS saw the movie and said "Hey, we should do this for B.B."?

I've seen B.B. King play numerous times and always enjoyed the instrumental breaks when he let's Lucille do all the singing. One particular concert that stands out in my memory was in the late 1970s when Albert King was on the same bill. Of course, BB asked Albert, with his Flying V, to come back out on stage at the end. What an awesome jam!
Here's a highly compressed .mp3 (1.8 MB) of an instrumental from the CD, B.B. King - Blues On The Bayou.

"Signing guitars that are not Gibson is like being married and kissing a woman who is not your wife,'' the blues man said with a smile. So, signing guitars that aren't Gibsons is like not being married and kissing a woman who is your wife? Could be something Jesse Jackson may understand.
Thanks so much for that, B.B.
