Well, we have respectfully given Mary Lane the title of "Secretary of Defense" and Marummy (as in Rummy) because she's about the ONLY one who'll defend the sanctity of the Washington State vote day in, day out. In fact, the AP explained it this way: LANE'S LEGIONS: On conservative web logs, admiration for Dino Rossi's spitfire of a spokeswoman, Mary Lane, runs high. They even have a fond nickname for her, inspired by Donald "Rummy" Rumsfeld: Secretary of Defense Marummy Lane.
