"the Abrams brothers allege in their lawsuit, "Going Upriver: The Long War of John Kerry" was intended primarily to influence the 2004 presidential election in favor of the Democratic Massachusetts senator."
.....McCain/Feingold "527" Campaign Finance Law, anyone?

I love it. Kerry was a loser, and the movie was a loser, too. And now the maker of this piece of political propaganda is being sued. Will the good news ever stop?

Loser club. I am still going around in my "Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry" t-shirt.

Two investors have sued filmmaker George Butler, saying they were misled about the plans for a documentary on the life of his friend and presidential candidate John Kerry. ........ They claimed the best parts ended up on the cutting room floor....like this scene which was one of the Abrams fave scenes....

" were misled to think Butler and producers were trying to make a commercially successful film."
These two have to examples of the adage about fools and their money being soon parted.
Who in their right mind could ever envision a film about Kerry being anything other than an insomnia treatment ??

Butler's really got his head up his ass if he can paint that lily livered coward and traitor as anything but what he is.

Maybe we could all sue, since Kerry himself misled us all about his Vietnam exploits!

"..baseless and insulting to the artistic integrity of the film."
He means "excessive artistic LICENSE" he took with the film, doesn't he?
