People are becoming more interested in their own lives and experiences which is a very good thing. Living vicariously through the lives of "stars" is a vacuous thing to do. Life is not a test drive, so why squander it on meaningless pursuits ?

The key is to make one's own life as rich and interesting as we can. Creativity is a birthright and should not be commodified into some ersatz celebrity hierarchy.

Celebrity worship is dying. The cycle is coming back around to hero worship. Thank goodness for substance.
