Walter Williams wasn't a slave back then. If you asked him who "his people" were, I imagine he would say Americans. Who are your "people".?

I give up! He is black, most of the slaves were black so you would think he would be a huge Lincoln fan. Ya know Lincoln freed the slaves. But he is not. He is a big believer in the constitution and thinks Lincoln was a great centralizer of power not a great president. You mean he wasn't a slave back then, you're kidding right?

Walter Williams was not a slave, no American alive today was a slave, There is no "their people" and "our people", we are simply Americans.

I don't think you're listening to me. I don't look at people as part of a special interest group. I look as them as people. What I was saying is than since Walter Williams is a black man and since his ancestors were black. They were probably slaves, not him. I'm not that stupid. Since his ancestors were black and probably slaves, that you would think he would be a big Lincoln admirer. He is not. He believes that Lincoln was a good centralizer not a great president. Do you understand me now?

BTTT - Bump to the Top

ACW - American Civil War

I file everything of interest that I read on the (world's greatest encyclopedia...) internet - have thousands of links and it's the only way I keep from going mad in hunting them down.
