Send this to Hillary Clinton. She can write a letter to the boy telling him he shouldn't have been born if only she could "fix healthcare".

Mighty fine health case system they got over there.

The dilemma of being telephoned about an infant born showing signs of life following termination of pregnancy is one that many paediatricians have faced. Is this true? How many babies have survived?

The boy sounds like a fighter to me. Hope his mother named him Winston.

Somebody explain how you can get 20 years in a federal pen for terminating an Eagle fetus (messing with their eggs), but nothing for terminating a human fetus.

It would never be the case that a woman would be discharged with the expectation that she would deliver at home. I get the feeling the nursing staff would make sure there would be no survivor.

What world do I live in? Who could do such a thing in the first place? Hasn't anyone ever heard of adoption? Once again I ask, what world do I live in?

The body ejects the dead child just as it would in a natural miscarriage.

Abortion MURDERS a living child.

"Clarke reveals that paediatricians often intervene to save babies who have survived abortions." Well, isn't that big of them? < sarcasm >
"If viable, and resuscitated, those infants who survive may suffer significant illness.
And there should be a heavy enough burden of guilt to go around for both mother and doctor abortion practitioner in knowing that the responsibility for the suffering of these little ones rests squarely on THEIR shoulders. Of course, instead of doing the right thing and turning away from this evil, the socialists will probably use it as "evidence" to justify terminating children after they are born.

The body ejects the dead child just as it would in a natural miscarriage. I find it amazing that any society would sanction such a horrifying spectacle as the mother must witness in the aftermath of such an event.

The baby was born "alive" at 24 weeks. How ironic, considering that in the UK the cut off for abortion on demand is exactly 24 weeks.

Wow. Every aspect of this is just incredible. How will she ever face that son?
To: aculeus
This is one seriously mixed up mother. She goes for an abortion, changes her mind, feels the baby stirring, goes back again, gets the abortion drugs, goes home, delivers the baby, and rushes it to a hospital neonatal unit. Now, as far as I can understand this article, the baby is home again, now two years old, with the same mother who tried to abort him.
I sure hope she doesn't change her mind again.
