Well, apparently we missed a lesbo-soldier thread a week or so ago. At least that would have had possibilities. Man, no kidding! Let's dredge that sucker up and start decorating it with pictures. I got nothing else to do here at work late on Sat. night.

but then again, he also proposed to me on our first Valentine's day together, complete with giant hearts and flowers and my name in a store window, so that's pretty cool. It still made up for the mace, which he gave to me later! My hubby proposed to me the day before Valentines day .. Friday the 13th under a full moon
My mother told us that most normal people would have waited till the next day .. *L*
We've been married 16 years ... and still not normal :0)

I give them a chance because I used to have geek status. But I like to consider myself more of a nerd. ;-)You have to be the woman of my dreams. Someone who knows the subtle distinctions between the geek, the nerd and, of course, the dork. The dork, of course, would find parallels between these and the species that inhabit Middle Earth.
A nerd would recognize the reference.
And a geek would find it funny.
