I've always been able to pat my head, and rub my stomach at the same time.
Do you think I have a prayer?

I'm so glad I didn't major in education. I would probably have been fired after I said, "How is this crap going to help our students get a good score on their SAT?"

I think it depends on what you want to do with your life. The ability to pat your head and rub your stomach at the same time (much like chewing gum and walking at the same time)are skills that lend themselves to occupations that require a precise mind -- such as dentistry or medicine.
The ability to BS and obfuscate lends itself to professions that require a conniving mind -- law, politics, NEA official.

me too! It's all full of crap, theory, methods of teaching, etc., yet they forget to tell them they have to KNOW something before they can teach it.
