"I believe that you will believe that even if I were Jesus himself, so I believe I could care less what you believe."
Luis, you are too funny.
And race pimp groups like La Raza don't help.
hehe- I could go along with that...
Lee and Gore lost. Get over it.

Reforming Mexico and solving our problems are one and the same. Mexico has been a segregated society for 500 years - it was the crown of the entire Spanish New World empire 100 years before the first settlers hit the shores of the future US.
It's foolish to think that this will ever change without outside influence. Protecting our borders and stopping the inflow of illegal immigration will have an immediate and conclusive result in Mexico: revolution.
I'm sure one of the internal issues considered in the Bush cabinet is "can the US handle a war in a southern neighbor" during the WOT? We know the (virtual) open borders policy is propping them up.
So it's a fine balance between our long-term security vis-a-vis illegal immigration vs our long-term security in finishing off the WOT without any distractions in Mexico.
That's because of what is driving this massive migration of people. It's not typical immigration where people are happy to leave the old country, learn a new language and eagerly jump into the American melting pot. The Mexican government not only is driving them out but setting up it's offices everywhere throughout the USA to continue governing over them, issuing them their matricula cards for use in the USA. Page 2 of the comic book --- remember where the Mexican consulates are --- we're all over the USA for you.
This is very revealing about you. Apparently the only criminals you see fit to lock up are murderers. Let all the others go.
Also please show me the quote where Reagan said that a new berlin wall be built as you propose and are pushing for.
Huh? Is your ability to ratiocinate limited to Reagan's policies. This illegals problem has evolved beyond the Reagan years. It is now time for a wall.
I bet that you fail to see the hypocrisy in your own posts.
Congratulation to you and your wife. Another example is a friend at work who got an illegal girl pregnant. He the married her - she went back to Peru and went through the system to get back here legally. I welcomed her with love and respect.
Your beloved Fox and Salinas managed to drive them out --- no problem. What goes north can go south. They sent them over in unventilated box cars and semi trailers --- often half dead. We can send them back in comfortable air-conditioned buses.
You may not believe this --- but some people actually are deported --- you can go stand at the bridges and see it --- not traumatic at all like you claim. The INS takes them over to the gate, opens it, and they walk back home --- where there are buses, taxis, hotels --- within minutes they're just blended back in with their fellow citizens. No one stands there crying when they're let out of the buses and vans --- not even the deportees cry.
Interesting how you never want reforms of these Latin American hell holes. In reality there would be far less suffering if there were reforms. Just keep up the corruption --- and the endless flood of people must make their way to the USA --- and many directly onto government programs. We wouldn't want to upset Latin American dictators and oligarchs.
And yes --- I fixate on the corrupt greedy Mexican government and it's upper class --- because that is the real drivng force behind this. That changes and there would actually be reverses in migration.
"You really think millions of Mexicans only wanted to lose their little ranches and homes in Mexico to come be the cheap servant class of the USA?" -- FITZ
I can't understand why your head doesn't blow up.
NPR is partially federally funded. Federally funded means it is OUR money.
Therefore, it should be free of bias.
We all know it is NOT free of bias.
Free Republic is funded by private donations. OUR money.
Since it is private, it can have any bias it wants. Hence JimRob's ability to kick off any poster who violates his rules.
So the distinction I was trying to make is that NPR gets it totally wrong. It's partially federally funded and should have no bias. As opposed to Free Republic, who gets it totally right.
If the NPR libs want a radio station where they could spout their lies, then they should be de-funded by the federal government.
I believe in sovereignty FITZ...you don't.
Here's a bombshell...I've never advocated an invasion of Cuba.
Kinda like getting ticketed in a school zone, and then burning rubber after the cop goes back to his car.
