I used to maintain a spam filter server for a large corporation, and we built a keyword list for blocking items in the subject line. I would occasionally send it to the help desk staff to keep them updated (they could use it for troubleshooting problems with mail delivery). One of the reps responded to me once: "I don't even know what some of these words mean!"

It appears that these companies have a hard-on for the spammers.

I have two different email addresses and receive and average 400 emails per day. 99% are spam. Some of the most gross stuff you have ever seen, and I have/never visit any sites that would suggest I want to receive this junk/spam email.
