...but it seems a bit one-sided, so I'm just trying to even things up! ;) Why?

Yes. My husbands comment was that it is interesting that the head of the Anglican Church is getting married in a civil ceremony.
HHmmmmmmm.

I am really happy that they are getting married. I hope we get to see it on TV but I doubt it will be filmed.

Looks aren't everything..... Yeah, that's kind of what the "love is truly blind" saying is all about isn't it?

Sadly, Diana was blinded by love, too.

Prince Charles to Marry Camilla Parker BowlesHe's not looking for a wife; he's looking for a mother... which I suspect he never had as a child.

Princess Madeleine sure fills out that dress.Fills it out; about to come out of it!

Sadly, Diana was blinded by love, too. True, but if I remember correctly it was after being cheated on and deserted by Charles. The whole saga is a sad, pathetic mess. I feel sorry for the boys and hope they can, or perhaps already have, come to some kind of understanding with their new "mum".

He married Diana to produce a suitable heir and a spare.

I thought there was some rule that the crown prince (or princess) can't marry someone who is divorced. Or who is Catholic. Is this still true?
To: A Ruckus of Dogs
Don't think he can marry a Catholic but Henry VIII created the CoE so he could get divorced and get remarried.
Not sure if we can have a Catholic PM either although all other religions are fine.

The headline should read, "Prince Charles destroys last shreds of decency in English Monarchy."
To: Reagan is King
The whole saga is a sad, pathetic mess. ...spurring countless TV movies.

.....with really really bad actors.
