When I read those Barney Frank quotes I had to go back and re-read that part of the article to make sure I had read it correctly and he was really saying that. That was surprising.

I wonder if there is any way for a Senator to compel release of this tape?

However, it has now been revealed that Franks called Jordan's office and ask him for specifics - because Franks wanted to start an investigation. So now, I don't believe Franks was outraged because he supports the media, but because he had an alternative motive.
As usual, Franks was just looking for a reason to put his face on TV bad mouthing the President and our military.
Why am I not surprised.

When Barney Frank is more or less saying it was a bunch of crap you know you've gone off the leftist reservation.
This tape is going to come out. One way or another.

"To avoid the abuses of the English law, treason was specifically defined in the United States Constitution. Article Three defines treason as only levying war against the United States or "in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort", and requires the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act or a confession in open court for conviction." hmmm, Frank and Dodd -- that's two witnesses to the same overt act ....
