It's a luxury location in Mexico where many expats live like pashas on SS checks from here. Been there, saw that. Trouble is, it's in Mexico, a fourth world country corrupt from the postman to the prez. It sends us millions of their citizens for free citizenship and driver's licenses. Mexico will soon own most of the southern part of the US and convert it to yet another Mexican province where corruption will also reign. It already does in CA and AZ. No one seems to notice back in DC. How come? Are they all dolts?

The Parliament Of Canada devotes the bulk of its time to passing bills introduced by various Cabinet Ministers. Its become little more than a committee for carrying out the will of the Government leadership.

The people of Quebec resoundingly rejected the federal Liberals. Its English Canada that voted to keep the cretins and martins in power.

The House Of Commons IS based on representation per population. The problem is giving the less populous West equal representation with the East in the Canadian Senate and giving the Senate the power to veto bills that directly affect provincial interests. Canada's Senate has been a patronage office for the Liberals and you can see why Senate (like moving to an elected Senate) reform hasn't happened. Too many Liberal Senators would lose their influence.

In a parliamentary system, Parliament is supposed to provide oversight of relevant ministries and compel Ministers to report to Parliament on how they carry out their jobs. And theoretically, it can vote the Government out of office through a vote of no confidence. In reality controls over Government power is non-existent to weak. That's why Canadians have spoken of a "democratic deficit." The Canadian Prime Minister is more powerful than an American President and is virtually accountable to no one.

It's one of the most popular Canadian attractions because it's just a huge all-out good time. If you decide to visit Alberta, try to get up to Lake Louise in Banff, even if only for a day because the scenery will just take your breath away. Here are some links if you want to look into it.

It is not fair to label all journalists.Surely you jest? Even "conservative" journalists must be taken with a grain of salt. That said, I wish her well. The conservative label does not carry the stigma it once did, at least for now. However, the reputation has been earned by those who have gone before her.

Journalism is also one of the few fields in America in which one does not have to take some sort of exam to become licensed. Yes, they should be required to take some kind of "proficiency test" and be issued a lifetime ID number to be tattooed on some discreet part of their body and be included with their name in every article they write. To remove the tattoo or not include their "JSN", the Journalist Serial Number, along side their name would be a felony. You know, like guns. If the "pen is mightier than the sword", than the 1st. Amendment users should be registered like the 2nd. Amendment users as well. We can't be too careful with the truth..........(/sarcasm)

Not really fraud per se, just an overwhelming monopoly due to a population similar to California or New York (minus the electoral college) Ontario is just as bad. The rest of the country simply has no vote.
