I'm glad they mentioned Bugs Bunny in this article. Growing up I never liked the cartoon because of all the cross dressing and kissing male characters. Back then the homosexuality thing wasn't all over the place like it is now, but I remember I was surprised that it didn't seem to bother any of my firends.
Now as an adult when I tell people that they think I'm nuts and some friends even try to pull the repressed homosexuality crap on me.

Bugs Bunny used to dress in drag, and even kissed Elmer Fudd on occasion -- and no one ever complained about that.
