I always wanted to be a Marine, to see the world and make a difference, Kasal said in an interview this week.
That reminds me of what is posted outside the gate of Parris Island, S.C.
"The Difference Begins Here"
Semper Fi, Marine!

May God continue to bless this courageous Marine!!
. . . telling quote:
"Despite everything that has happened to him, Kasal still believes Americas mission is Iraq is both important and terribly misconstrued. He harbors special venom for the so-called mainstream media reporters who portray the war as a failure and American policy as a gross mistake. He says he has heard reporters say their job is to make President George W. Bush and his policies seem a failure."

May God bless this genuine hero, and all the other unknown and unseen heroes.
Reading this brings into light the contrast between him and the Michael Moores of our society. Day versus pitch black night.

I took seven rounds; five in my right leg, one in my foot and one to the buttocks area. When the grenade went off I got 30 to 40 pieces of shrapnel in my back, Kasal said he later discovered. As you read that, think about Kerry's wound to the buttocks and his Purple Hearts and service medals. Ask yourself, "who deserves the medals?" "Who is the war hero?" This small town Iowa boy is the real deal.

"...or Ol Gimlet Eye Smedley Darlington Butler, who won two Medals of Honor"
I can not even comprehend how one person could receive two Medals of Honor.
All I can say is wow.
All I can say about "U.S. Marine Corps First Sergeant Brad Kasal" is wow.

I asked my wife last night, how blessed we are that God has given our nation such men.
This Marine's family is from a town not too from where we live. We have got to get his mom and dad's address and drop by soon.

Maye you're right. We have a new player in the Democrat party now----Big Money, ie,..Soros et al with MoveOn.
Big money doesn't have ideology, they just want a return on their investment, and I can't see them gambling on Hillary when Richardson is almost a gimme.
