Brilliantly conceived, and written, piece.
It's comforting to know that some people are offering alternatives to the anachronistic-in every sense of the word-Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
I especially resent how mainstream media organs repeatedly characterize people such as myself as "amateur" nut-cases.

It is cool to realize that FreeRepublic and its Canadian sister site are finally getting some respect from the big boys.
Way to go, PD!
Unfortunately, I'm not quite a "professional."
Though, I could regale you with some very scintillating stories about crappy, free New York City weeklies that have rejected my work.
