Bill Press is an America hating asshole. Despite the forged documents, he insisted to me in an email that Bush was AWOL. It's because it fits what he wants to believe. The same thing applies here. If he were forbidden to bash America or Bush, he would have absolutely nothing to write about.

a bit OT here but i watched the segment on SS w/ JC Watts (I think Watts did a terrible job of articulating a defense for Bush): I'd like to know why no one is pointing out that in his SOTU speech, Bush said "A, B & C & D have been offered as solutions to the SS crisis. I think we should do X, but ALL ideas are on the table, ALL ideas are solicited and I want ideas from everyone. This needs to be solved in a bi-partisan fashion...."

Everyone is acting like the idea HE prefers is the only one that will be countenanced. Bush said here's what I think, if you have a better idea, bring it on.

Everyone's running around attacking or defending Bush's plan but NO ONE is talking about their own plan or solution.

While Bush is running around the country selling his plan, opponents are wasting their time bashing it instead of coming up with and promoting their own (better?) plan.
