He announced earlier that he would explain himself at a press conference at 5:30 pm today. Instead, he chickened out and some woman came on, handed out copies of his book and urged the board of regents to "maintain the standards of academic freedom" or something like that.
Just prior to that, on the radio, Gov. Owens said that if CU didn't get rid of this man, the state would put monetary pressure on them until they did!
