and the backup isn't needed.

By the way, according to another source, release #2 is
usually the first on target. So the bomb at the top of
the image was #1.

The other source also said it wasn't clear where and
when this photo was taken. It may have been a test.

I heard a guy pushing a book a year or two ago. He was in Afghanistan, and said that the Taliban bomb
knowledge at the time was that bombs don't hit in the same place twice. Ergo, they seek shelter in a newly
made craters.
