The name "Jason" makes me think the baby could have parents or a parent that is a citizen here.

I wonder if meth addicts would be likely to beat newborns to death --- there is also a bad methamphetamine epidemic going on --- lots of that stuff being brought over the border and also being produced here. Recently many apartment fires and homes have been burning down in the area --- meth lab explosions.
