No ofcourse they will wait but China's assets are not going to the US rather US assets (manufacturing companies) are going to China. They will wait till all of the US assets come over to China.

I was referring to those cast off Soviet assets, picked up on the cheap by China in the early eighties, the Clintons.

I agree that China will wait until they suck the rest of the life out of our manufacturing base.

2010 would be about right.
We'll be picked clean by then and President Hillary will be able to aid them.

Yes some of the Presidents of your country have given the wrong guys all the Hi-Tech stuff. That wasnt a very smart thing to do.

No I don't think that Taiwan will make the first move. But I think that if the mainland attacks Taiwan, then there is a risk that the war will come home to them. The US shouldn't back away in that scenario. Although the mainland has numerically superior forces, They are susceptible to being put in a standoff situation. We only need to see that Taiwan doens't fold.
