If this individual really did know Sarah, you may want to call a hotline. It is possible for the police to track an individual from his or her computer. Perhaps, he or she may be of help to this investigation.

Hi,

>>We were warned about the coming of this in the early seventies <<

From prophecy perhaps?

Did you read the response in 156?

I just can't fathom this thinking of young people but I haven't had MTV on cable for 5 or more years so I haven't had a chance to see how bad it has gotten. It's an extra-pay channel and no one is the household is interested but we did have access to it before that and found it troubling, to say the least. Would tune in sometimes while channel-surfing but never stayed long.

It happened last week. Gruesome, huh? And now there is this interesting post #156 defending the alleged murderer.

>>i'm only a sophmore in high school<<

Your writings aren't in line with the writings of a 10th grader. Even tho some words are misspelled like "aligations" you write more like an adult. So just who are you and why are you here to defend a murderer?

No oddly enough I along with other "grammar school" kids were shown a film documentary the effects of kids becoming "desensitized" from watching too much television violence. Back then teachers were teachers and they were dedicated to teaching kids to become strong independant thinkers and productive contributors to society unlike the slacker liberal agenda today.

"but i strongly doubt people would be taking the same stances they are if the alledged killer was a posh, popular blonde girl"

Hrmmmm, #156 sounds like a frigging troll post. I'd ignore this garbage. Mark Hacking and Scott Peterson were both posh looking upwardly mobile studs with everything going for them(per the illusion) and everyone condems them for the needless murders they committed.

How many of these tragedies will society have to endure before Taco Bell is finally outlawed?

That was "back in my day." ; > I remember those teachers fondly, especially one who took a special interest in me in elementary school. I kept in touch with her thru high school and was disappointed to learn of her death about 10 years ago.

Please keep in perspective that this was on the news. It isn't a regularly occurring event that someone so young is murdered cruelly.

This "Sarah" and her accomplices are abhorrent human beings. They should be made an example of.

Kids do stupid irresponsible things, murder is not one of them.

"How many of these tragedies will society have to endure before Taco Bell is finally outlawed?"

The statement above is what I mean by detached and desensitized from reality. Making wise cracks about kids killing kids over jealous rages and dismembering human beings. Literally everything becomes a big joke. Too many teenagers are missing the componenet in their brain that tells them when it is appropriate for jokes and seriousness. I wonder if psychologists are currently doing any studies on the percentage rise in "Arrested Developmental" growth of people.

Give me a break. Don't tell me to keep things in perspective. I'm not the one snorting drugs, robbing banks or murdering people. Maybe it's you who needs perspective. YOu sound like one of those driveling liberals who always champions the perp. Blah to you.

I would comment about the lack of education in the Quad Cities that is evidenced by post #156, but I'm not stirring up that can of worms.

Sunny,

Hmmm...Eph. and anger?

I think there's a misunderstanding. I think Lauralee is answering #159 .. and mistakenly posted to you from 160.

In Lauralee's defense, I think this was a situation of her posting to you in error.

She's conservative in her thinking per her posts.

#159 said he could have "gone all day without hearing about this"

I'm guessing she was replying to him "please keep in perspective that this was on the news"

Aren't you from that area or did you say your wife was? That was a few days ago.

I used to live in Rockford (wouldn't say I'm from there, though) which is a few hours away from Moline, but same general geography. My wife is from one of the Chicago 'burbs.
