Like a "jealous rage." Sounds like Sarah Kolb had more than just a little "tizzy" over the new girl and her "jealous rage" caused her to act out. The stepmother of Adrienne, on last night's local news, said there were reports the two girls had had a big fight over a boy/s.

Terribly tragic .. the girl from Wal-Mart was buried today. We meant to attend the services open to the public but slept in and just now remembered it was today at 1:00.

That's two teens from our area in the last two weeks brutally and SENSELESSLY murdered! (Adrienne grew up in East Texas and had just gone to live with her father and step-mother in East Moline)

But Adrienne's death is not old news. It is quite sad.

The girl kidnapped from Wal-Mart was buried today. Over 1,000 people attended.

Both of these crimes come out of our area. The kidnapping occurred here and Adrienne grew up here so it's of interest to us.

This doesn't scare me this upsets me because it's so damn crazy It seriously makes me angry that people could do that. Not only does it affect the families and friends but all quad city residents. I drive past the Taco Bell on the Avenue of the Cities everyday and I shutter to think that at lunch time there had to have been many people in the drive through seeing what was going on and didn't intervine or call the police.. I can't look at the place let alone eat it and I like to eat.. so I think about what all the others are feeling. I just think this is a tragedy and I will never forget it. Yes it happens all over but it's still not making it settle in my friends, my family and my st0mach. I hope the killers are punished for life... not giving life. Giving them the death sentence is giving them life if anything. They should have to live with what they did and be tortured as they tortured this poor girl. Living with the guilt and shame couldn't be enough killing them is a reward to what they've done.

i've just registered to free republic to post about this... i've not been very close friends with sarah, but i have known her and talked with her now and then. the aligations everyone have made against her are not only hypocritical of any point you're trying to say about "humanity" but also completely irresponsible and ridiculous. she was not a typical "goth" or a "satan worshiper" and from what i make of it these stereotypes have been established simply because she's alledgedly killed someone, has pale skin, and had multiple body piercings. that's in fact it, if it's so hard to understand from the red country we live in. a regular girl who has piercings. wow. from what i know, she was and is a god-free person, but that also means she didn't worship some "devil." for cory, i do not know him at all, but if in fact she is guilty of this crime (please people, it's not "guilty until proven innocent; unless you can be classified by people by the way you look") i would believe it was only a situation gone terribly wrong. please don't mistake me in condoning the actions resulting in the death of adrianne, but i strongly doubt people would be taking the same stances they are if the alledged killer was a posh, popular blonde girl. they would simply say "why did this happen? poor girl had so much going for her!" instead of "this girl is EVIL! i bet she doesn't even have any remorse!" sarah was in fact a very emotional person, here's something she actually stated not too long ago on her deviantart account about an argument:

To all this posted directed to .. ping'ing you back to this thread for purposes of #156 here .. someone claiming to be a teen defending the alleged murderers and stating, in his last paragraph, that he hopes she is not found guilt. Claims he is from that area. His thots are very troubling, to say the least. Defending Sarah .. being upset with us because of our comments regarding "Goth" .. well, just read the post and draw your own conclusions.

Troubling if this is truly a young man from that area .. really troubling how kids of today rationalize murder and all sorts of other heinous things.

I really don't understand much of your post except you're saying you know Sarah. The information that she is "Goth" comes from a statement made in one of the articles by one of the parents. Why are you defending her? That is what doesn't make sense. Why are you really here? Are you a relative of hers? As a sophomore in high school, I find it very troubling that you would defend Sarah. All the evidence points to her having committed this act. What is wrong with the young people of your area if they think like you .. defending the person that committed this act? Perhaps in your youth you understand the words or phrase but not the concept of "innocent till proven guilty" but when all the evidence points to a person yes, they do have to be proven guilty in a court of law, but am I correct that you said you will be disappointed if she is found guilty? You don't think Sarah should be punished for killing another girl? PLEASE EXPLAIN YOUR REASONING!

If you were my child and you said to me all you've posted here I'd wonder 1) where I went wrong; 2) if you were really my child because I'd never raise a child to defend a murderer or with the mindset to excuse murder.

Situations gone terribly wrong, young man (if in fact you really are who you say you are) are not deliberate acts of murder. Understand the word "deliberate!" And you fail to make ANY mention of the reports that other students had heard Sarah's threats to kill Adrienne.
