Bush won’t abolish all global tyranny by 2008 — that might have to wait till Condi’s second term — and there won’t be ‘four more wars’. But by the time he steps down, by one means or another, there will be four fewer dictatorships in the world, including Iran.

"High-tech redneck?"

That's more of an accurate description of myself than I'm comfortable with. You can take the boy out of Bama, but ...

Consider this line of thought -

Russians are not reproducing, so the 145 million are going to die at some point. If they don't start reproducing the country will be empty. Yemeni women are having about 6 childern each. Most will be alive (and reproducing their own children in 2050.

Can't we spread that news that strapping C4 on your body will do the same thing? If they're gullible enough to believe the handshake thing...who knows?

Well, it's hard not to believe one would lose his penis (and more)upon pressing the red button connected to the suicide belt. ;^)

Islam will grow until there is a final battle for world dominance. That time is almost upon us.

Interesting how those silly prophesies in the Bible come to pass, ain't it? ;-)

If you only read one article today, make it this one.

Steyn -
The Shiites, for example, have adopted a moderate secular pitch entirely different from their co-religionist mullahs over the border. In fact, they sound a lot less loopy than, say, Senator Barbara Boxer of California did accusing Condi Rice of being a liar last week and then going all weepy and a-waily and claiming victim status because Condi declined to agree with her. Even on the Sunni side of the street, there are signs that the smarter fellows understand their plans to scupper the election have flopped and it’s time to cut themselves into the picture. The IMF noted in November that the Iraqi economy is already outperforming all its Arab neighbours.

I'm thinking that the health of his penis is the last thing a homicide bomber is worried about.

"Forty-four years ago, JFK had plenty of soaring rhetoric:  ‘We shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.’

Can you, in your wildest dreams, imagine Senator Teddy talking like that?

Thanks for the whole thing Pokey.

And just for the record, I hope when those ignorant muslims in other lands shake the hand of an American they really do get so scared that their d**** fall off.

Steyn again explains why Cheney was right, and Powell was wrong.

And Blair did not want "regime change", as Bush originally talked about, (since 1998), Blair wanted UN resolutions also, which is why the push for WMD.

The Pres wanted Blair with him, and sided with Powell against Cheney.

Understandable, and 20/20 hindsight, but it was his very 1st major mistake after 9/11.

A silver lining tho, this argument has exposed, the UN, Europe, and the left's willingness to destroy US power and influence, their proxy war against us, their tolerance for tyrannies, despots, madmen with the capabilities, intent, and cash for WMD.

There can be no more illusions on our side, that the left here and worldwide, their media, the UN, Europe, want the best for the United States.

We now have NO doubts who the enemy is.

"The Western press are all holed up in the same part of Baghdad, and the insurgents very conveniently set off bombs visible from their hotel windows in perfect synchronisation with the US TV news cycle."

Now there's a study worth doing.
