There's a lot of propaganda coming out of not only out of the mullahs but from some of these activist groups which overstate their support.

He is not Moore. He is just being realistic.
I would be astounded if the Iranians would welcome US liberation .

Military no. Moral support, yes.
Care to explain this world poll where Iranians are the most pro-Bush in the entire world? Far more than England, Germany, Spain, etc.

Well I've read many of the Iranian blogs and message boards and, unless there are mullah agents, some of them were quite critical of what Bush said. Can you quantify the support of the US in Iran?
I should have said something different considering I have seen the students get into one of the mullah's face when he went to talk to them. There may be widespread support for the movement, but there seems to be little consensus on how to take action which makes me worry considering how long the movement has existed.
Give me some of your favorite Iranian links and I'll take a look at them.
Please spread this booklet among the Iranian community.
From Dictatorship to Democracy (Farsi)
http://www.aeinstein.org/organizations.php3?action=printContentItem&orgid=88&typeID=16&itemID=244
It basically shows nonviolent methods of dissent that's been used to bring down dictatorships. It was used in the Rose and Orange revolutions.

The Iranians never welcome any foreign intervention in their way to democracy but they would appreciate any foreign moral support!

President Bush means it F44, and some of us really do understand what he was saying. Americans are not looking for power or hegemony. We know that we have to communicate our desire to spread liberty around the world, or else face a very dark progression of human events. In this post-WW2 world, there is no one to surrender, no one to offer a ceremony of capitulation. It's up to every individual. America does have freedom to offer when and where it is wanted. We just need to relight the love of it in people like Iranians.

Re #18
I hope we see more dramatic action in Iran. It will further sober up Kim Jong-il and his Chinese patron, too
