Does anyone want to bet me that Hersh looks under his bed at night for the bogeyman? This guy doesn't just wear a tinfoil hat, folks...he wears the whole tinfoil suit!
Ah hell - the title led me to beleive that Hersh finally realized the Democrat Party has been taken over by the Cult of Moonbats.
I think -- I'm not sure --
the porn world has a word: "gapped"
Don't know what it means . . .
Did you read the whole article at the link? Sey Hersh sounds like he's losing it.
a. Incoherent.
b. Still living in My Lai, so to speak.
c. An out-and-out racist, who hates whitey.
A curious creature preserved in formaldehyde, straight out of the seventies...
That is EXACTLY what popped into my mind.
They're being driven so crazy (by righteousness and goodness, no less) that their masks of "moderation and reason" are dropping and their real selves are being exposed.
Surprise surprise (not), they are really what we've always perceived. Moonbats.
The Brits have their Robert Fiske.
And we have Seymour Hersh.
Personally I would rather have about a Dozen Jack Bauer types from the TV show "24" getting information out of these Terrorist suspects and preventing problems rather than waitng for the next shoe to drop like our Democrat friends would.
Headline:
Hersh jumps shark with neo-con conspiracy.
You really have to wonder, if eight guys could grappe our
government, how come the democrats haven't done it already.
And the mainstream media was presenting him as an expert on covert US involvement in Iran?
Good golly, this dude is loony, and should be locked up, pencils taken from him.
I'm beginning to wonder if many of his "insights" about the internal workings of the Iraq War II were embellished by him, or mande of whole cloth.
He's got some demons in him.
Once I merely suspected, now I'm reasonably certain: "whole cloth" it is.
Recall the story Hersh did on the Ranger raid on Kandahar in Afghanistan. Everybody involved, from the Pentagon to the field commanders to the individual troops, vehemently denied that any part of Hersh's report was true.
I don't believe I've ever seen a story so shot down in flames in my life. Yet, Hersh continued to insist that the events happened precisely as he described them -- huge unreported losses, Rangers dismayed by the skills and resolve of the Taliban forces they faced, coffins spirited out of Afghanistan and arriving unannounced in the U.S., etc. -- all covered up by evil officers and the Pentagon, of course. He refused to identify his sources, however.
Eventually, other reporters stopped referring to his account -- which had received wide publicity -- and the matter was forgotten.
It now seems clear that the events Hersh described in Kandahar, if they happened at all, happened only in the confines of his fevered brain. The man is deranged. Literally.
"that simple"
I think that's the problem! It's just too simple for them.
They're such nice men, go with them....
Y'know, that's true of any group with a insular belief system and persecutory delusions.
One rises to the top through sheer lunacy.
Clearly he's been hitting the grappa a little too hard.
Although he's probably been drinking the stuff that was made in the basement of some guy from Palermo.
