Neither of the store owners would be charged, Smith said, calling the shootings a clear case of self-defense.Music to my ears.

Never bring a bottle of soy sauce to a gunfight. Lesson learned by the criminals.

he took his own gun out of his overallsThat would be a clue. Don't mess with old guys wearing overhauls.
I've seen a hayseed wearing overhauls pull several thousand in cash out of the bib pocket to pay for farm equipment at an auction.
I can promise that the cash was not at risk from a free-lance socialist.

Bobby Doster tells how he and his common-law wife, Gloria Turner, fought back against robbers Monday night in the couple's Shoat's Grocery and Package Store in the community of Hutchins, near Stephens in Oglethorpe County.

By the time the authorities would have gotten there, there would have been 2 law-abiding citizens dead, had they not defended themselves.
Sorry 'bout the ijits, but they shouldn't have tried to rob a store.

Or they had previously filed for an SBA loan (fingerprint required) Naaaaa You're probably right

This is one of the primary reasons I prefer living in GA to living in the blue fascist police states. Can you imagine what would have happened to the store owners in NYC, Chicago, Boston? They'd be facing serious jail time and be financially ruined by juries of their "peers" who would have found that the poor misguided uts were wrongfully killed in attempting to make the welfare wealth transfer process more efficient by eliminating the middleman.
