No need to withhold "racist" comments. This is not about race, it is about the infiltration of the US by a cult that seeks either our submission to it or our demise through indiscriminate violence, directed usually at unarmed women and children. It is about us letting adherents of this cowardly cult into the CONUS no questions asked. It seems that to ask a question of potential immigrants is to "racially" profile them. Nothing could be further from the truth. Please spare us any whining about "race" - this emphatically is not racial, it is about survival.

There is no requirement or law in all of Islam to tell the truth, particularly to the infidel.

The following is actually quite a good site outlining the history of the Jewish people in Palestine.

Read it and learn:

http://www.eretzyisroel.org/~jkatz/

The interaction between Jews and Muslims have been going on for a very long time, and only by understanding this history, can you understand how terrorism arose.

Not that there's any excuse for terrorism. IMO, all terrorists should be shot. But I WILL NOT condemn an innocent person because of the terrorist actions of 3rd parties. Although I am cautious and wary, I am not afraid.

I think if we react with too much fear to the WOT, we'll give up more of who we are than I'm willing to sacrifice.

I will not allow terrorists to steal my ideals and my political philosophy along with our security. There is a REASON why this is the greatest country in the world, and I will not give up it's greatest strengths just because we are threatened.

On that you and I agree.

But in my opinion we're not there yet and I would not support taking those steps until we are. Nor do I think it serves our cause by alienating those in the Muslim community who currently support us. Why create more enemies?

We don't need to jump the gun on this. History has a way of punishing those who act first and think later.

Did you happen to notice that your link refutes your statements and confirms mine?

http://www.eretzyisroel.org/%7Esamuel/britainriots.html

There is nothing un-American about recognizing a totalitarian philosophy and treating it as an enemy of the state. To this day you can't get in the country if you were involved in the Nazi or Soviet regimes.

The freedoms that you cherish so much have a prerequisite; they don't come from thin air. That prerequisite is the willingness to respect those freedoms in others. Yet one cannot be both a Muslim and respect the religious freedom of other people. Understanding this crucial point is why I have repeatedly implored you to make an effort to comprehend what Islam is.

None of us will have any freedom at all if they win.

As has been said so many times before, the US Constitution is NOT a suicide pact.

Stop saying there are Muslims who support us until you can show that they exist. They don't; they CAN'T, and remain Muslim. Those of us who are educated about Islam have no trouble whatsoever understanding this.

Americans will NEVER trust "Muslims" again---NEVER!!

That's what we said about the Japanese in WWII, but now they're one of our closest allies.

I think when people become consumed with fear, they stop thinking with their heads because they're too overcome by emotion.

This is an issue where I think fear plays a big role.

Perhaps the reason why I can view this rationally is that I am NOT afraid. Yes, the terrorists can kill me. Yes, the terrorists can attack our nation. But really, they can't change me much. My religion, my ideals, my beliefs, and the heart and soul of who I am can't be changed by wackos who think they can use force to control me. And in the end, I trust in the God who made me to protect me from those who would do evil, and if He does not, I trust Him to have a place ready for me where terrorists have no place at all.

I might have to fight, I might have to die, but in the end I win regardless.

Part of winning is to live by the values I hold dear to the very end, INCLUDING love for my fellow man regardless of what religion they cherish as long as they live peacefully and abide by the law.

Yes, I would agree that in this case the Imam said something incompatible with the oath.

By the way, I guess you're not familiar with the US space program.

Perhaps.

But it is useful to us in this instance since it might be argued that Iraqis living abroad are more friendly to US interests and are less likely to support the more extreme candidates that might be on the ballot.

This wouldn't be 100% true of course, but IMO it would be a better mix for us than many currently in Iraq.

If that were true, we'd have open warfare in the streets since we ALREADY have so many of them here.

Eventually, it may come down to exactly that. We may have to battle Islam on our own soil. I hope this does not happen, but I am not convinced it won't.

Yes. Every Muslim should be deported back to their country of origin. If they were born here, they should be deported to their ancestors' country of origin. Our survival depends on it.

I provided the link to you to show the long term interaction between Jews and Muslims and the history that led to the rise of terrorism.

The conclusion of the author is not necessarily mine.

I can more than understand the frustration of the Israelis in dealing with this problem on a daily basis, so I would overlook MANY ideas from them that I would not accept from others. In short, they get a big pass from me because they've been tortured for a VERY long time by just about everybody. I can understand why they have their worldview.

Considering the amount of lying that goes on in the world, including in our own government, we don't have much room to point fingers.

Yes, they lie a lot and I don't like it. But I think in the end it hurts their cause, so let them lie.

Now you've revealed yourself simply to be an anti-Semite. You're going backwards.

Islamic terror long precedes the return of the Jews to Palestine. Blaming it on the Jews is the timeless retort of the anti-Jewish bigot.

In fact, the very first war that the USA fought was against Muslim terrorists! Islamic terror has been around as long as Islam.

It's BECAUSE I follow the example of Jesus Christ that I will not condemn the innocent.

He is a perfect example of this principle in action.

Somehow I don't think He would be advocating an extermination party for Muslims.

And how do you propose we find all the muslims in the US? If they are willing to lie for their war, how do you know what their beliefs are? And how do you keep someone from converting?
