Thanks Homemom. I definitely had some fun. The parade and ball was worth the trip. Just wish we could have gotten to everything. I felt so bad for the person I asked to go as my guest. She had never been to DC nor seen President Bush before. At least I had gone to his last inauguration and have met him 3 other times, but she hadn't done either. I got those nice bleacher seats for us though, so that was special to her.
Did I read somewhere that you taped everything? If so, is there anyway I could get a copy of the Celebration of Freedom portion? I'll be more than happy to pay for any expense involved. My friends hubby taped everything else, but we had snow that day and he didn't get home in time to tape the Ellipse celebration. I was sickened, because of missing that one, plus no one here taped it.
You're right about not forgetting---in more ways than one. :) Thanks for the kind words. I was VERY happy when we drove into my driveway!!
