That shouldn't have anything to do with people who have already been vetted and voted out of committee.
They don't get do-overs.
"I can't help myself. I'm a scorpion."
Fine .. Throw him out of the Party
WHAT DID THE IDIOTS EXPECT????
Are they all brainless, spineless or just drunk out of their trees allllllll the time????
Sheesh.
"WE TOLD YOU SO"
Hmmmmm? That sounds like a great email campaign slogan - We could all send our repubs a little love note - that might get the ball rolling.
No apologies requested, but that pitch went over like flashing a raincoat filled with snake oil then, and it floats like a brick in water now.
Arlen Specter - enemy from within. Is there a better definition for this snake?
It's a shame more people don't understand Kay's sarcasm.
We hope. Reality, however, is that he's only toast if Frist grows a spine and there's no current reason to think he will. I wouldn't have thought it possible to have a weaker leader than Lott, but we do.
MM
I'm not sure Frist can help Spector and from this article .. it doesn't sound like he will
The back lash in Nov over Spector was HUGE
This stunt of his will be ever bigger
As for as I'm concern .. Throw him out of the Party

I do believe I too am on the record here as having told them so.
There are people in politics who just like to play the game. People like Dick Morris. I did a search on Kemerer and found almost nothing. The rest of this article is rumor from unnamed sources. I'll wait to see what the other Republican Senators have to say before offering my appoligies.
<< ROFL I can hardly wait for Gonzales to get in. La Raza anyone? I suppose the tired ole nags will be ringing their hands once again. Wish they'd wise up. >>
We MUST rid ourselves of career politicians.
Or our beloved FRaternal republic is gunna get sick [Sicker] and might die!
Each.
If this article is true, "RINO" is too good a term for Specter.
"Pond scum" and "traitor" come to mind. Much as I expected,
though actually a bit worse.
He should be shoved out of the party, now.
There was no good solution as long as it was Specter's turn to take the chair of the Judiciary Commitee. If he lost it he would have then become the "moderate" voice that opposed all of Bush's important appointments. I wish Bush never helped him in the primaries even though it's likely Penn. would have a Democratic Sentator.
Yep...Heh Hugh Hewitt, you myopic party-hack..."I TOLD YOU SO!!!", and tell your friend David hairDrier that goes for him too...Will you people ever learn?...Sharpen the knife, hand it to Brutus, and turn your back to reveal the target.
Let's not forget two men unltimately responsible for putting Specter is this position - George W. Bush and Rick Santorum. How convenient that Bush practically handpicked the turncoat who will now block our conservative nominees. Feh!
Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to remove him.
never say Never
Count me in! I'll gladly help to get rid of him.
Well, Im so surprised and shocked and astonished. NOT!
