Chiming in here regarding the dresses.
Someone posted a thread yesterday where a fashionista was complaining the Bush family doesn't have style because they buy their clothes off the rack.
They were being criticized because they didn't have their dresses custom-made or some such nonsense. That leads me to believe the dresses are probably pricey, but not astronomical in price.

Cnn was showing parties from last night. Had Barb Walters, Jim Leher and lots of other back stabing media living it up. How many Kids could we feed with the money they spent on those parties.

LOL! Yep, he ALWAYS does that. I find it quite charming, and I get a kick out of who will get the "Good job!" comment. I am afraid he would even say that to the Pope. LOL!

Sally Quinn sailed into Washington and threw out her society anchor, confident she would always be admired and sought after. Too bad she was so busy showing off her top deck that she never bother to check out her empty hull. She's laden with barnacles and listing terribly to the left. She needs a complete overhaul and a trip outside D.C. Same thing goes for Mo Dowd in New York.
LOL, you could hear it in her voice. Now the man she considers the best designer in the United States is speaking glowingly of the people who won't have any parties. It's killing Sally.

My stepson was in Iraq in the early months of the war. We were able to stay in touch via e-mail most of the time and it was a blessing. He called us his "Daily Intel" because we sent him articles from FR.
