I've always thought of inauguration day as a national celebration, where we forget the differences of the election season, shake hands, and show our unity as Americans while we display to the world the success of our grand experiment in Democracy.
Obviously McAuliffe doesn't see it that way.
"taking away our most basic civil liberties?" What is this guy on?
Thankfully, we all had the basic civil liberty of voting these guys out of office and/or preventing them from obtaining power.
God Bless America

and taking away our most basic civil liberties.
Such as the inalienable right to spread fear from a cushy office in DC. It's mentioned in the Bill of Rights, you know.

I think Terry gives the Democrats too much credit. They're past the stage of fading away.
To: BigKPM
Fundamental values? Liberals don't even know what values are.
To: BigKPM
Republicans are hoping that we'll just fade into the background.Wrong, Terry. We hope ya'll keep acting like lunatics. You won't see another Democratic president for the next 40 years.

This idiot is on crack. Shift the tax burden from the wealthy to the middle class and poor. HOW in the hell does the middle class and poor getting a tax refund in the mail a "tax burden"?? I only wish I had that "tax burden" when Clintoon was in office. Then this "undermine Social security for future generation" By God man, social security is the biggest scam going today. Say someone starts working at 18 and retires at 65, that`s 47 years of paying into social security and do you know what you get? SQUAT! My mother just started getting it and she gets a pitiful $1100 a month that is TAXED by the way thanks to Clinton, which ends up being about $700 per month. Who the hell can live on that? She is getting taxed on her own money that she gave to the government INTEREST FREE for 47 years. Now imagine if she threw that cash into a mutual fund 47 years ago! She would be a millionaire by now! SOCIAL SECURITY IS A SCAM TERRY, AND IT MUST BE DONE AWAY WITH SO THE KIDS OF TODAY DON`T END UP AS THE SAME KIND OF SUCKERS.

No, Terry, as with everything else, you have it bass-ackwards.
Republicans WANT you to keep "fighting" for the rights of terrorists and their sympathizers.
Conservatives WANT you to keep protesting freedom and supporting tyranny & anti-Semitism.
The Red States are practically BEGGING you to continue your doom-and-gloom, America-sucks-when-democRATS-are-not-in-power verbal diarhhea.
So, please Terry, don't go away. We really do need a good laugh from you tantrumy 5-year-olds masquerading as "adults".

They have only two more years to perfect their only viable strategy for winning elections; registering dead folks, registering more people per district than actually live there, and coming up with endless justifications for repetitive recounts.
Meanwhile, back in the real world, the population shifts continue; the red states keep getting more and more electoral votes. The blue states continue to kill themselves off by the continued slaughter of defenseless babies. And brand new inaugurated Presidents get to appoint LOTS of brand new judges.
I LOVE IT!

The RATS are still in a frenzy as they continue their quest to fight "for the enemy" and "enemies of freedom." Just looking at Slick Willie and Jimmuh Cattuh in the stands was worth twice the admission price!..........

You just opened an insight into the situation. Social Security is not security, it is dependency. The amount is sucks out of ones paycheck is that much less one can invest in a real return for their retirement years. Instead, it sets people up for dependency on the government masters.

"Today, the day of George W. Bush's second inauguration, Republicans are hoping that we'll just fade into the background. They're hoping that for the next two years we sit on the sidelines, and let them ram their agenda through."
Hey scrote! America DOES NOT like you! America gave repubs the house, the senate, the Presidency, and the majority of Governorships. The more you loose the sillier you get. Your party is done!
