Now more kids will just giggle a little differently when they see Sponge Bob. It is the NYT and the headline writer's intention to imply that Dobson is characterizing Bob as homosexual, but I see no evidence of this. Only that Bob is about to be misused.

Yeah, I find that the people who hate the intrusive God of Jesus also tend to hate Dobson as well.

Seinfeld is an adult program. Spongebob is a kid's cartoon.
Maybe it's time to start marketing Spongebob to adults, just like The Simpsons and South Park. Then, they can do whatever the heck they want with it.

They are just mocking him to cover up the truth. This video will be shown in 61,000 schools and will used with very pro-gay pro-feminist curriculum. Your kid will be asked stuff like whether there are gay and lesbian publications at their local newsstand, etc. That curriculum is called
I Spy Sexism. Other teacher material helps the teacher to instruct the kids about how compatible homosexuality is with religion. The reading material for the kids lists all the teach-a-kid-to-accept-homosexuality books such as
Heather Has Two Mommies.
A bunch of gay activist groups are associated with this. The KCStar to ultra-pro-gay and you cannot believe anything you hear from them on this subject.

I've always suspected Sponge Bob was a flamer.I've read somewhere that Sponge Bob is a favorite character among the "alternative lifestyle" crowd.

BTW, are his pants really square? Well, have you ever tried to put round pants on a square sponge?
It'd be really hard to do.

Not quite the whole story. The group making the video does promote tolerance of homosexuals, but, per the article, "Nothing in the video or its accompanying materials refers to sexual identity."

Here comes the "cartoons are evil" stampede...
It's a damn CARTOON...people. Did anyone care when Bugs Bunny dressed like a girl to fool Elmer Fudd?

I have only seen one episode of SpongeBob, and in it, he (or one of his sidekicks) decides he is going to wear a bra, because the girls do it, why can't he? Seriously, he wears a bra on the outside of his clothes! How am I supposed to explain that one to my kid? And why should I have to? And Bugs Bunny cross-dresses -- including wearing a bra in "A Corny Concerto" (1943).

Btw, whatever happened to that "Angry Beavers" cartoon?
What is that? A cartoon about Senators Clinton and Mikulski?

They aren't making any news one's to my knowledge but they broadcast the old one's on saturday and sunday mornings on Cartoon Network.
It cracks me up too.
