Ya know, that's what I was thinking after reading the article. Someone reports a shooting in the area and this idiot cop on a power trip decides that an elderly black jogger is more important to take down than someone with a gun?

False information in the headline? If you read the story, you will see that 1. the headline is EXACTLY as it appeared in the newspaper, and 2. the quotation in parentheses is taken DIRECTLY from the story. Were you inferring that I was the one who added false information?

There are several in the NFL and many, many in college football; especially on the west coast.

Sorry. It is impossible for a black man to be arrested while being white. You addition is true but you should note that it is a quote from his attorney.

I will have to remember to note everytime that a black person is arrested to add that "He was arrested while being black".

West coast universities recruit directly from Samoa. They ship them up on scholarships to junior colleges where they train them up, and then after a year or two they send them up to the 4 year schools to finish off their player eligibility.

After which, many make it into the NFL.

Wow Kenton, you really impress me. You were correct in that any scene an officer is at he has to be in control, failure to do so could get him killed.
Then you completely lost control of your facilities. I hope you didn't stain your chair.
Most cops are NOT control freaks. Most do the job they are hired to perform. It is very clear from this that the officer made a contact, confirmed that the subject was not who he was looking for, then attempted a courteous and polite exit. The subject involved then got in his face and defied the law. The officer could have disengaged and ignored the subject.
But think about it: you just made contact with a subject, gave him a polite warning, and he tells fronts you down. Is it possible there was something else involved? Any officer worth a dime would have engorged the contact and investigated further.

I used quotation marks, which denote that someone else made the statment; there isn't enough room to include the attorney's name in the headline. Besides, that information is in the article, so your point is moot.

Please cite where he was arrested for jogging. Other than his lawyers statement. The article clearly states otherwise.
