Dear Ms. Boxer:
I never was and will never be one of your constituents, but I AM a former Democrat. It is because of Democrat politicians like you, that I am now a Republican. Your shameless hypocrisy, and your holier-than-thou attitude are just a couple reasons why I left the Democrat party.....rather, it seems to have left ME and many others. You care more about politics and power than you care about the well being of the USA. Yes, I was a Democrat, but I was never a complete fool, so I rallied with the party that really DOES care about the USA, and really DOES care about human rights, and really DOES care about minorities, and really DOES believe in the Constitution. Your message to Dr. Rice today, and the tone in which you delivered it are beyond shameful! Democrat roles will continue to shrink as you continue to spew such harmful and hateful drivel. The Democrat party truly is "A National Party No More", but when you look for someone to pin the blame on for the total demise of the Democrat party, you need look no further than your mirror.
You need to mail that one.

I must agree with those who reported on the live version that Senator Boxer's exceedingly long, boring, tendentious, lying speech at the beginning, which evidently went several minutes over the time limit, was an exceedingly strange way to question a candidate for an important post. You are invited to ask a question and instead you give a fifth rate political speech?
Moreover it was reported by Freepers watching TV that Boxer READ this speech and Condi answered it without resorting to notes. Strange that Boxer's speechwriters did such a lousy job. They had their candidate on national TV and they flubbed it. Even a gang of Communists writing a speech for Fidel Castro could do a better job.
Condi wiped the floor with Boxer mostly by saying, very politely but firmly, "I don't appreciate being called a liar." And Boxer backed down because evidently she just didn't dare say, "Well, you are a liar." So she lost it.
I used to be a rat too and agree with you completely, but don't bother sending it. Boxer doesn't care. Now, let that get you angry enough to do something about defeating rats.

Barbara Boxer has no shame and no dignity. I don't want her to resign. She is helping to destroy the Democrat Party and that is just fine with me. She is about the lowest and dumbest person I have ever seen. You know, as a Jew, she would be among the first to beheaded if the terrorists ever infringe into our country. Had Al Gore or John Kerry become POTUS that might have occurred. But, before she would be beheaded like Daniel Pearl was, she would be abused, raped and then killed. The woman is certainly different from the brave and valient men and women that I know in the Israeli Defense Force. American Jewry should be ashamed!!! But the silence from the American Jewish community is noteworthy.
