Sexist reality: No one wants to watch Katie Couric get old(er). Never going to happen.

>>Katie Couric

As Laura Ingraham once put it (IIRC), she's "the woman who's paid millions of dollars to look stupid and say
stupid things". Naturally, CBS would be interested.

Who would have thought Gloria Vanderbilt's son was gay?

She should have paid less attention to her own jeans and more attention to Anderson's.

Hey, CBS, I've got an idea: Andrea Thompson!!!

Ick! A 'Babylon-5' washout? No!

Did the former CNN anchor, Andrea Thompson, do B5? LOL, didn't know that. I just thought that in light of the Janet Jackson debacle, Ms. Thompson would fit right in at CBS and Viacom. Know what I mean (nudge, nudge)? :)

Couric is the other "white meat", Stossel is merely sausage..

CBS desperately needs something or someone to boost their ratings.

Considering that they don't have anyone in the wings that could do this by themselves, I wonder if it would help CBS to go to a two-anchor format like NBC used to have with Huntley and Brinkley?

John Roberts and Mika Brezinski perhaps?

Best one-liner I've seen lately.

I favor my tagline, Mr. President.

"NBC NEWS TODAY SHOW CO-HOST KATIE COURIC HAS BEEN APPROACHED ABOUT CBS NEWS ANCHOR JOB, NETWORK SOURCE TELLS TIME"

I LOVE IT!!! This is beautiful, they have no idea how far in the wrong direction this is going. We can only pray that Kouric filling the spot comes true....

Perhaps Hellen Thomas is looking for a new job?

See BS news doesn't need an interim caretaker, it needs an undertaker. The corpse needs embalming and burial....it's beginning to smell!

Perhaps Helen Thomas will un-retire for them.

They're equally attractive.

I don't have any idea that this adds anything to the discussion, but when you mentioned "the other white meat" I immediately flashed on this early Sherman's Lagoon comic:

Sherman Comic Strip Example

See BS doesn't have a clue as to how to rebuild their credibility.

All those mentioned so far are nothing more than liberal leftists shills.

I would think Kat Couric would be worse for See BS than Danny Boy RatherNot

If she could be persuaded to jump, CBS would have to wait 16 months—when her NBC contract is up.

Riiiiight. Viacom to GE: "Here's a bunch of money." No problem.

Even if she did it topless

Ever notice how she is the only one on the Today show with any breasts at all? The other hags bags are smaller than Matt's! Probably in Katie the Kommie's Kontract that she was not to be out-breasted on the air.

Oh yes! You didn't know that? She got the CNN gig when Bab5 dried-up (One can only imagine HOW the career jump was made; and WHO had to get 'jumped' to accomplish it).

Even the non-humanoid fictional characters engendered more compassion and interest than hers.

How many OTHER 'serious news journalists' have autocards? LOL!
