The Anthem is the last song sung before the game. ATB is before that.

According to their site, "The USMA Cadet Glee Club will perform at Super Bowl XXXIX in Jacksonville, Fla. on Sunday, Feb. 6. The Glee Club, along with glee clubs of other service academies, will sing the National Anthem during pre-game ceremonies on FOX."

It's fairly obvious that quite a few of her post African ancestors were not enslaved.

I find her quite attractive but that street ebonics is a real turn off.

Shame more of these pretty mulatto celebrity gals don't take a cue from Thandie Newton.....poise, grace and no whining.

You obviously aren't familiar with Alicia Keyes' work. Are you a childhood piano genius? I wonder.

My parents didn't let hang out with anyone for good reason. Bad company ruins good manners.

She's the gangsta version of Norah Jones.

"...along with the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind," said Keys..."

Way to go, Alicia. 'Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind.' So few people bother to throw in that second 'the' that is part of the proper name of one of St. Augustine's proudest and most storied Institutions.

Eh, not quite. She's the R&B version of Norah Jones, and since there is a lot of R&B/hip-hop crossover, it may seem that way.

She can get a little gangsta when around her rap collabo buddies. I suppose that's to play down herself in their presence.

I'm suprised it took almost 30 posts in this thread before someone pointed out this is being sung at the expense of NOT singing the National Anthem. Or did I miss something?
