Hah, I remember the ".88 Magnum" from that movie "Johnny Dangerously".
Joe Piscopo's character explained menacingly that it "shoots through schools".
You don't need a gun that is designed to penetrate a bulletproof vest--unless you're a cop or a criminal.
Ahhhh, nothing like gun porn to bring people together (although you should read and consider the dissenters)
Sweet. LOL. One question though: Just how durable is it?
I would imagine the Bush is decent quality. I have heard of some of the other Carbon brands exploding.
My main gripe is muzzle energy.
The Bushmaster 7.25" barrel gives 1700 fps with 62 grains.
The FN does 31 grains at 2133 fps.
Taking the ratios of kinetic energy it looks like the Bush will have 27% more energy than the FN.
A 18" 223 barrel should yield 2800 fps meaning the pistol has only 36% of the KE of the rifle.
A 7.25 barrel is a silly thing to use with 223. It should at least be 10 if not 14".
Doesn't the Second Amendment just apply to duck hunting ;o)
You might look into heavy charges of W-296/H-110 behind 160 gr. silhouette bullets (Hornady?). They penetrate pretty well.
Police officers are trained to treat everyone as potentially armed, especially traffic stops.
The CZ 52 = Czech Tokarev
Will it do the cranial vault of a Cape buff like the 357 AP?
You need to check out this thread on Roy Jinks... plenty of S&W there.

Yep, same round.

I understand where you're coming from, but I note that the firearms of the 18th century were capable of penetrating the vests of the police of those days.
I would venture that a 22. Hornet Taurus wheel gun will as well.
Modern (hot Czech) 7.62x25 should never be fired in older guns of same caliber i.e. Broomhandle - #'s are the same but pressure is way different
Make that Sierra.
Important information about availability of ALL 5.7 x 28mm weapon systems and ammunition
BATF regulations: All components of this system are tightly regulated by BATF. The P90 (NFA, Class III weapon) can only be sold and registered to a law enforcement agency.
The Five-seveN pistol is slightly different. The first sale, which requires the pistol to be legally imported into the US, requires the same procedure as the P90.
A BATF Form 6 is needed which the chief or the second in command must sign. The pistol can then be removed from the Custom Bonded Warehouse and shipped to the agency. The ammunition is controlled in much the same manner, an approved BATF Form 6 is required then the ammunition can be shipped direct to the agency.
Five-seveN Pistol: Light (1.64lbs w/ 20 rounds of ammunition), simple, reliable and highly effective. Available in a Double Action models (about 12.00lbs trigger pull) or Single Action Tactical (about 5.00lbs trigger pull).
The FsN DAO sells for $585.00(suggested LE Price) while the Tactical sells for $650.00(suggested LE Price). Available with night sight and modular tactical light and laser, at additional cost.
I think the standard usage of "arms" at the time meant small arms.
It might be constitutionally permissable to restrict in some way crew served weapons, though I would hate that.
Nothing is as much fun to shoot as a quad .50

It has always been known that if it be your intent to kill, shoot at the eyes that are looking at you!
A sawed-off .12 ga with #2 shot can be the most effective anti-cop combination around.
The first shot fired should be towards the eyes, then while down, and otherwise preoccupied, the last shot should be at point blank to the ear. And pick up the ejected shell!
Nope. But it works well on bears and you can still buy 'em. I wouldn't use even a .454 on a buff, but then they are kinda rare here in the Rockies.
