This morning there was a short clip on Fox News about ties between illegal alien smuggler gangs and middle eastern terrorists. Apparently the US government, *our* government, is trying to downplay the significance of these kinds of stories.

Roughly 60,000 illegal immigrants designated as 'other-than-Mexican,' or OTMs, were detained last year along the U.S.-Mexico border, including a sizable number from Arab and Muslim countries. And if recent reports are any indication, they may be getting some troubling new help in their efforts to enter the United States.

>> Should I start preparing a shelter underground? <<

No, but you should have some extra supplies on hand in case your area is hit with a major attack. See my homepage.

What leap of faith does it take to deny the possibility of terrorists having the financial means to pay a Mexican or South American gang to smuggle some of their members across the border from Mexico, using the same routes and logistics that other illegals use.
Stop It!

You're being a Bush Basher! </sarc>

They're going to have to close the borders with overwhelming force. The only question is whether it will happen now or after a major attack.<<<

Bush should have it done now. If there is a major attack, it will become "Open Season" on terrorists.

One thing we still have, is the Right to Bear Arms. This is the sort of thing that Right was given to us for. I will protect my home and family - even if our Government refuses to do so.

Do I think he is unaware? No. Do I think he needs to see every story about this like we do? Absolutely. Do I think it will change his mind and cause him to pull his head out of Vicente Fox's arse? Not a chance.

"Still think open borders is such a great idea? "

We don't have "open borders", that's why people get caught.

Anyone who says we have open borders is lying. Why do they have to lie? Is it because they can't defend their positions without lying? Is it because their beliefs are based on something other than reason and good public policy?

Anything for cheap labor and no accountability...
Kinda like selling American military secrets to China...in order to keep Wallmart supplied.

Commercial pilots are still not armed...the borders wide open....Saudi Wahhabist mosques, Islamic centers, large tracts of rural U.S. property bought up for the Muslim summer training camps being built across America....while groups like CAIR grease American politicians...

There is no Homeland security ..but plenty of laws in place when they will be needed to subdue an America in panic when the real attack comes...

Meanwhile keep stripping blue hairs and yanking the prosthesis off of 80 yr old WWII heroes
looking for WMD...of course all the while ignoring a herd of burkha clad al Qaeda and Arab men between the ages of 18-45

We are being set up....thesis antithesis synthesis...six step attitudinal change plan...

The crescent moon and five pointed star of Ishtar-Isis and Baal-Sin welcome their desert worshipers...old Babylon migrates to new Babylon...

Diversity ,Tolerance, Moral Equivalence, and Relativism..

Up is down, war is peace...freedom is slavery.. good is bad, and evil is now good....liberty is proclaimed as freedom from the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacobs law...

The left is only the real magician's misdirection...

imo

Hmm, so lets see. We are hearing of more and more middle eastern types sneaking across our borders(The ones they tell us about anyway), Hospitals closing, School systems going under, wages going down, Illegal alien Gangs killing Cops and last but not least The Mexican Government publishing a comic book to tell it's citizens how to circumvent our laws, and Bush still insists on pushing "His", because it sure as hell isn't mine, Amnesty.

One has to wonder just what his priorities are, because after all this no one can be nieve enough to believe open borders is good.Except for the people who benefit from it.

AQ is interested in MS-13's human smuggling routes though mexico.

Right here in my town, in the County hospital is a couple from Uruguay who admittedly paid smugglers to get in the USA, they also were "kidnapped" and their relatives in Indiana had to pay $3000.00.

Hometown Liberals, with the help of the INS, are playing a pity party tune for them using our liberal newspaper.

Has the FBI questioned them about their knowledge? I dont know. The FBI never got back to me. How about the director of Homeland Security in Gov. Perrys Office? I dont know, that poor fellow didn't even KNOW whos responsibility it was.

Our Government could give a rats butt about the Border IMO.

We don't have "open borders", that's why people get caught.

But the point is that they're far less protected than they should be.

I never said what we have. I asked if YOU still thought they were a good idea.

Nice attempt at a dodge though.

You're right. Unless there is something in the part of the article we aren't allowed to read, this is pure bullsh*t. The author doesn't even claim "inside sources" or give any indication where the information came from.

Looks like just another nut case trying to make a quick buck off of suckers. Look at how many chicken littles are running around on this thread over nothing but a man named Islam being caught trying to cross the border.
