I remember seeing a show on Cold War KGB and they would have the stuff in the tip of an umbrella and take out people on the streets by poking them.

It was a really neat looking device. The tip of the umbrella was hollowed out with a steel pellet inside containing the Ricin, that was also hollow with holes in it to disperse the poison.
