Note: excellent analysis originally posted January 4th on FreeRepublic by the author but, almost unbelievably, apparently received few views and no comments.

The classic article on the Marxist/Activist relation was John Fonte's excellent essay:

"Why there is a culture war."

Yeah, the most persuasive guage that indicates the power of the radical feminist movementis toobserve not only how far it has penetrated our legal system, cultural institutions and military command, but also how it has intimidated and shamed conservatives into silence.

It is the radical feminists who still propel Marxism more than any other movement. It is the radical feminists who constantly distract and demoralize the men of our military. It is the radical feminist movement that run interference for the enemies of our nation in the name of 'compassion'.

I once had a feminist studies major from the U of MD tell me that she looked forward to the day when all white heterosexual men were, not punished, but *eliminated* from the face of the Earth.

And she was not joking one bit.

And yet nothing will wake conservatives up to the danger radical feminism poses as most see it as the gender equivalent of racism to oppose it.

Though I know many here don't like him, Pat Buchanan offers a similar analysis of why winning the culture war is so difficult in his Death of the West book.

"...the battle has only just begun."

Amen. What conservatives have been screaming about for decades has finally been recognized and unmasked. Now the work of killing it must begin.

Joshua Muravchik's book, Heaven on Earth, is a great read.

And as you said, this is an excellent analysis.

I would like my daughter to have opportunities to be able to pursue any career she chooses; but when it comes to family and childrearing, I will encourage her to find a man that will be able to provide for her and their family without her having to work. I am a staunch believer in having Mom at home with the kids. Then, when the kids are in school, and she has more time, she can go back to work.

In regards to the feminists constant attacks on pay equity, and access to health care. The pay equity issue could be compared to the phenomenon of illegal aliens in the workforce. They are basically begging for a job and therefore have no foundation to negotiate a better wage. When women first "attacked" professional life, they were the newbies and therefore could not demand the higher salaries that better connected males could. This is not an attack on women, it is a fact of business life. I feel that there are many women who could perform job functions as well as any man. In regards to access to health care, the fems only seem to base that on access to "reproductive" health care (i.e. abortions and contraceptives). This is a fallacy and they know it.

Apparently this posting is going to be ignored by many as well. However, I have been informed and in-so-much as one individual has been transformed the endeavor has been a success. That informed person, will invarably, unconciously or consiously convey that information to others.

When my ex became pregnant with my now-ten-year-old daughter, we were living paycheck to paycheck, and the prospect of paying another $220 a week for daycare (we already had a three year-old boy in daycare) was daunting to say the least.

Simple math told us that we would be deeply in the red. However, if one of us stayed at home with both children, we would be able to make it, even without the extra income. One of us had to stay home with the kids; obviously the lesser earner.

Which was me. I was working construction, she was in sales (and she was damn good at he job - she landed me, din't she? *wink*), making almost twice what I made as a laborer.

So when my daughter was finally born & my ex went back to work, I became Mr. Mom.

The first 2 or 3 months were the worst... walls closing in like a compactor, and cabin fever burning me up.

But eventually I came to really enjoy staying home with the kids, taking care of them. I can safely say that from the day my daughter came home 'til the day she was out of diapers, I changed 95% of all poopy pants and made 99% of all meals. Not to mention cleaning and general discipline.

I stayed home with the kids until my daughter was in 1st grade, and wouldn't trade those years for anything. BUT... I had no idea how hard it was going to be for me to get back into the work-force. Prospective employers (especially those of the blue-collar type) tend to raise an eyebrow when they read "stay-at-home-dad" for the last 6 years on your application...

Hmm... I babble at times. So sue me :P

This is true though not as much as it used to be. Years ago male lawyers would only discuss the insanity of feminst lawyers in hushed tones. Last time this was discussed at a law conference no only was it not hushed, there was a conservative woman lawyer participating.

The times ARE changing in the real world. In the world of academia, the ivory tower still eats its own.

"What worries me most is the feminist hegemony at the United Nations. There, feminists rely on a "top-down" strategy to impose their ideology on countries throughout the world. It began with CEDAW, the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women. Now fem-socialist ideology permeates many of the UN agencies'

This is alarmist in nature and has no semblance of a serious attempt to undermine the world order as we know it. This hocus pocus of a project is not going any further than the UN on the east side! Look, this CEDAW is nothing more than a suped up arts & crafts hour at the UN, being promoted by bleeding heart elites in NY and Paris for THEIR own consumption. The least of their concerns is the sad state of affairs women find themselves in Islamic and Third world countries. Liberalism at it's best.

Why are you the "ex"?
