My day always starts out with Bill Bennett, who is LIGHT YEARS, AND THEN SOME, AHEAD OF BLABBITY. I am missing Dr. Bennett this week because he had a knee replacement that went very well, I understand.

As much as I admire Rush, if I had to pick between Rush and Bill Bennett, I would be listening to Dr. Bennett. I'm SO GLAD they aren't across from each other! Blabbity can "SHOVE IT", thanks to Tahreeza.

I didn't suggest that the original remark was a rag. All I did was warn of what would happen. I wish I wasn't quite as right as I apparently was about it.

Talk radio is not for everyone, and it most certainly should not be your only source for information. It is mostly about the particular personality, of course. I kind of like getting outside opinions from time to time. That's really all.

Most of us in the sticks are sensitized to lifestyle criticism or anything resembling it because we are the butt of so many jokes in the MSM. Nobody here is really calling for anyone else's head. It is the interaction from the populist-driven and intellectual-driven branches of the same political movement. We need each other to get things done, that's for sure.

I'll sign onto the earlier deal. I don't usually regurgitate opinions, save perhaps for a gratuitous Coulter quote to hack off the less-friendly lurkers a bit. I am actually more of a newcomer to talk radio, and held the same opinions years prior to my listening. I mostly find it entertaining, and there is some good info out there. Each person kind of has a story with them as well, and I like that too. We can all learn from the experiences of others. I am a firm belief that much of the finest knowledge out there is not found in printed material.

Therefore, a truce to all injured parties. Now, let's do something constructive, like keep Hillary out in '08.

I love Bill Bennett but didn't know he had a radio show. I will have to check if I can listen online.

thanks for the post---you put it all in perspective better than I have--I let my emotions get in the way today, and I usually don't. I apologize to Cacique and humblegunner for my rudeness.

Some of the people on these threads have taught me a lot-especially the ones with military experience because I don't have any, but I care deeply about the military and I want to learn.

I will admit when I am ignorant about a subject, but please don't mistake it for stupdity or being a hick. Most hicks I know are a lot happier than everyone I know, because they aren't curious enough to know better!!!

Newt is a hard person to figure out. I don't think I ever have figured him out.

He comes off as a "man of principal" but then he turns around and does something that appears to be only for political reasons.

Yes, you can!

Bill Bennett's Morning In America

He just had knee replacement surgery and is out for a few more days, but has a good guest host.

WABC 77 talk radio is the only station I listen to, but the 3pm-6pm slot is a waste. Hannity is a lightweight, my tolerance level for his show is down to about 60 seconds.

Mark Levin is at least interesting, but he hurts his show by being so abusive.

Laura Ingraham is very good.

Curtis and Kuby (unsyndicated, NY metro area only) are uniquely funny and informative. Best chemistry of any radio team I have ever heard.

Rush is in a class by himself.
