Anyone who is familiar with Dobson's work knows he's not a "front" for the White House.

Dr. Dobson is a nice man ... if he can take out KKK Byrd, he'll deserve a medal!

That would be easy. He could well do it if he motivated his listeners to do it.

"David DiMartino, a spokesman for Mr. Nelson of Nebraska, said the senator was already an opponent of abortion rights and had never supported a filibuster of one of Mr. Bush's appellate nominees."

Does that mean that Ben Nelson would vote for cloture in the filibustering of nominees? Hmmmmm?

Looks like the good Doctor is gonna spend some "political capital." Good for Dobson. Even though we're bombarded with the daily hysterics that 'conservatives' are controlling government (I'll buy that after I see 20 years or so of socialist roll-backs), it still looks like the grassroots conservatives have to look outside of government for consistently firm and resolved leadership. I have a few problems with Dobson, but he does indeed act on his principles and I wish I could say the same for many or our more politically minded leaders.

Easy? The man's been in the Senate since World War I! I'm not writing off the idea, but I don't think it will be easy ... we'll find it in November 2006!

How about Ralph Neas as the front, back, and face of the Democrat party. Is anyone else as sick of his ugly mug and nasty words as I am? Then throw in Barry Lynn and the NOW people and you have the "soul" of the Democrats.

I could list some senators not mentioned by Dr. Dobson, too, that really need to go.

Read the latest Human Events, yesterday. The Repubs are claiming two-thirds of the operating budget this session (a precedent set by Dems back around '94 when they were majority) and Harry Reid et al are livid. Frist has started out strong. Hope he holds out.

Ralph G. Neas, president of the liberal group People for the American Way, which has often opposed conservative court nominees, said, "Mr. Dobson's arrogance knows no limits."

Pot, meet kettle.

He added: "This is the kind of tactic that ultimately backfires. These senators have served their constituents well and have courageously voted their consciences. I don't think they will take kindly to threats from Mr. Dobson, and I don't think the voters will either."

Hey Ralph! Your side lost (by a large margin). Methinks the electorate put Daschle out on his butt, so don't be surprised if it happens to say, the grand wizard of the KKK (Senator Byrd, for all you tolerant liberals out there).

"These senators have served their constituents well and have courageously voted their consciences."

First, the statement is full of Hubris.
I seriously doubt any Democrat Senators have Souls much less Consciences.
What utter Gall.
Go Dr. Dobson, full speed ahead, Damn the Torpedoes (Senators).
