The government recognizes families. Mothers and fathers have the legal right and responsibility for raising and supporting their children, for instance. That is as it should be.
Homosexuals are clamoring for special legal recognition of their sexual trysts as equivalent to the natural family.
The only meddling being done is by the homosexual activists and their generally leftist supporters, who infest the media like flies on - well, something that flies like. Any resistence conservatives put up against the onslaught of the "gay" agenda is called "meddling", "hatred", "homophobia" and so on. It really is a too feeble, too late defense against the destruction of human civilization. But it may work - more people are waking up to what the "gay" agenda really wants.
It wants OUR children - as voting fodder, sycophants, and potential sex partners. If you don't see this, it's for one of three reasons.
1. You haven't informed yourself, out of laziness maybe?
2. Seeing the reality of what has happened, what is happening, and what will happen disturbs your preconcenoptions about the world and reality.
3. You like the "gay" agenda because the elimination of all morality suits you.
I hope for your sake that your viewpoint is because of (1).
Fecal ingesting perverts bound for hell get the benefits that properly wed heterosexuals have received since Christianity was delivered to us by our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Those who practice these sinful methods of achieving orgasm, as well as those who shove them up the ladder, will have an eternity of torment to reflect on their marvelous lifestyle.
They've been doing that for some time already. Not content with having their own homosexual church - the Metropolitan Community Church - they have infiltrated many others, and are hassling the ones they haven't. They are now accusing the Catholic church of killing homosexuals by not promoting same sex sodomy. They accuse churches who do not succumb to the "gay" agenda of committing "spiritual violence".
In Europe, a number of preachers, priests and ministers have been arrested, fined, and at least one has done jail time. What was the crime? Making the statement that homosexuality is not normal and natural, or quoting the Bible.
Hatespeech is right around the corner. It's the twin of hate crimes. Why? Because hatespeech aggravates hate crimes. Of course, the step after that is declaring that those who commit hatespeech are guilty of wrong thoughts and need to be forcible re-educated, and, of course, have CPS take any children away from the abusive parents.
You can take that assinine attitude and cram it. If you need the government to tell you how to live, you're of no use talking with. Your ignorance pours from every line of your posting, and I don't debate people who aren't interested in discussing the actual issues. Bug off, idiot.
No society on the face of the Earth has ever recognized gay "marriage," even societies (such as the Muslim) which tolerate gay behavior.
RELAX -you won't find many homosexual supporters here, let alone passive principle based homosexualists -lead, follow or get out of the way...
I guess we won't agree tonight about what the law should say about homosexuality. You don't even seem to understand that it's wrong, legal or not!
