The title was altered. Or are you calling the Admin Moderator a liar?

I am doing no such thing. See posts 33 and 34.

So you feel that way about Bush then as well.

The subject is California, not Bush. You asked how we were worse off; I answered.

Yes, but if you are basing "california is worse off under Arnold" on "Higher spending, higher debt", then it stands to reason you feel the same about Bush since under Bush we have "Higher spending, higher debt"

How can "Higher spending, higher debt" be bad for California but okay for the rest of the Nation?

You folks have an agenda, and it's probably Tom-bots who are still bitter.

See post 36 and read through real slow. There is no way that Davis could have "achieved" these things. Since Arnold has an "R" by his name, opposition to his leftist agenda was subdued, if not entirely absent. As I said, we are worse off.

You chose only two items from my post and want to talk about Bush. I don't.

"it's probably Tom-bots who are still bitter."

Bitter, no. Just aware that Arnold is more-than-half-a-political-spectrum to the Left of Tom McClintock and that impacts our society in major ways as well as our individual security and finances....

On the plus side, Tom couldn't have made Arnold's "joining Nixon's Republican Party" speech at the RNC--and this election EVERYTHING WAS NEEDED to help us win against the Green/Soros/Homo/Abortion monsters.

What is he doing to "destroy California"? How is it "worse off", and "not better" than what they had?

Obviously you are not familiar with recent California politics. Here are three that even California third graders can recite;

1) Governor Schwarzenegger has increased the indebtedness of the California government both in respect to total indebtedness and the ratio of indebtedness to productivity. He has borrowed far more than any predecessor to fund government activity.
2) Governor Schwarzenegger has increased the state spending to its highest historical level both in terms of dollars and the ratio of expenses to taxable productivity. He is outdoing the tax and spend liberals.
3) Governor Schwarzenegger has raised revenue collection to a high art. The combined tax and fee rates in California are the highest in its history both in rates and totals collected. He is the king of the taxers.

Under Schwarzenegger California has the highest government expenses, greatest indebtedness and worst economic outlook in the last 50 years.

Yep. Restoring the right to keep and bear arms is my agenda. Is there something wrong with that?

Supporting RKBA and defending the nation are the two most important functions of the Presidency now. Bush outscores the Demoncrats 99 to nothing on these issues. Next comes the budget and Bush has not eliminated the liberal spending which will eventually destroy this nation.

Arnold has little impact on national defense and wishes to deny me the right to keep and bear arms which have a caliber just ten percent higher than those I presently own. He scores 0 of 99 and also has failed to reduce liberal spending.

Arnold DID roll-back the car taxes, but that was probably going to happen by Initiative anyway. Arnold is still negotiating with liberals over driver's licenses for illegals. He also raised taxes on Indian tribes. I'm glad that I am not a member of a minority which Arnold wishes to tax.

I see nothing inconsistent in my support for Bush and my opposition to Arnold.

If Gray Davis had not been recalled, he probably would have been unsuccessful at passing a $15 billion deficit bond issue. The Governor and Legislature would have been forced to reduce spending or watch the courts take over the state's finances.

Instead, Arnold has perpetrated another "smoke and mirrors" budget on us which is reported to be causing an $8 billion shortfall. Are you going to support another "deficit bond" issue to cover this? There is nothing that could be cut from the budget now that couldn't have been cut a year ago.
