Since 9-11, CAIR, a spin-off of the Islamic Association For Palestine, has seen three of its former employees indicted on federal terrorism charges.
Randall Todd "Ismail" Royer was sentenced to 20 years in prison on charges he trained in Virginia for holy war against the United States and sent several members to Pakistan to join Lashkar-e-Taiba, a Kashmiri terrorist group with reported ties to al-Qaida.
In a plea bargain, Royer claimed he never intended to hurt anyone but admitted he organized the holy warriors after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the U.S.
After his arrest, Royer sought legal counsel from Hamas lawyer Stanley Cohen, who said after 9-11 he would consider serving as a defense lawyer for Osama bin Laden if the al-Qaida leader were captured.
Another CAIR figure, Bassem Khafagi, was arrested in January 2003 while serving as the group's director of community relations. The previous December, Ghassan Elashi, the founder of CAIR's Texas chapter, was indicted for financial ties to Hamas leader Musa Abu Marzook.
Current CAIR leaders also have made statements in support of Hamas and the domination of the U.S. by Islam.

Check it out. New York State Supreme Court, upon declaring an islamic guru of some sort "personna non grata," and deporting him, ruled that "followers of an impostor, such as Mahommet.." are not to be considered as protected under the First Ammendment of the U.S. Constitution.
It has never been vacated, overturned, or rescinded.
I wanted to write a reply but all other posters have done a marvelous job of telling us the real story of the terror that Islam is bringing and will continue to bring upon America and other democracies throughout the world for many many decades to come. Islam believes without question that ALL peoples must cow-tow to Islam. The islamist creed is the word to Infidels, convert to islam or die. This war with Islam is a continuation of the wars of the crusades during the middle ages and upward into the 19th century.(See the book, "A Consise History Of The Crusades"). We are in a continuing terror which must be recognized by all or we are all in danger.

MSM sanitizes all depictions. Groups like CAIR do their own "freep" at the slightest hint of an accurate depiction of islam and islam's history.
Even IF you manage to squeeeeeeze out some of the bloody truth, the response is to point to abuses that happened in the christian faith. (of course the fact that such abuses were deviations from the faith not part of the faith is omitted)
