Hey, I've seen Dr. Phil rehabilitate people in an hour. All she needs is confrontation, tears, and a new car. She'll soon be ready for those PTA meetings.

Judging from the tone of your post, I can only suppose you're a 'public servant' or some other variant of the Liberal Party trough-lickers.
Say there, have you considered auditioning for "Last Comic Standing"?
Suggesting that *I* am of Liberal persuasion has to be the best kneeslapper I've heard all week!
Lemme guess, your next gag is that Reagan wasn't *really* a conservative, eh?
You so KWAZY!

I'll take your word that you're not a Liberal. It is easy for me to believe that you are a Tory. Way too easy!
But given your sympathies to the 'working' of the system, I still ask, "are you a public teat-sucker or not?"

Too bad they weren't tried in Texas, they'd both be dead by now.

NOT.
You're welcome. And don't mistake my comments for being 'sympathy for the system'. My observation that 'Holmulka did her time' was nothing more than a statement of fact. Should she have done more time? Absolutely. Did the (in)justice system fail? Definitely. But like it or not (and most if not all of us do 'not') the system delivered a verdict, a sentence, and now that the lovely Karla (choke-gag-spew) will soon walk free, there isn't a whole helluva lot anybody can do about it.
Think of her as a bleached out O.J. with a bustline, except that Holmulka actually did some prison time.
Sorry for that visual.

Okay, I'll stand down. ;^)
It's hard to believe that within living memory, 1966 say, Canada was the freest country in the world.
